And that’s mommy!

Who hasn’t received a child’s drawing?

Seriously. We’ll send you one.

They’re always so touching.

So simple in their formulation.

Sometimes in their presentation.

And so meaningful in their meaning.

This is their world.

This is what matters to them.

So simple. So plain.

Sometimes no ground or sky.

Just mommy. Daddy. and Me.

In a blank white canvas.

Being together.

So I am thankful for art.

Especially my childrens’ art.

We saw some professional artists today.

Amazing stuff. Marvelous. Inspiring.

And my kiddos were inspired!

But I am thankful for where they’re at today.

Who they are today.

And then I’ll be thankful for their art tomorrow too!
