Thankful for Bunk Beds

WOOOHOOOO!!!!

Kids go running into their room.

“NEW BED!!!”

**Starts climbing**

Bunk beds are the ultimate in kiddo excitement.

Multiple beds in the same floor space…

SO much room left over for games and playing…

A ladder (or stairs) to climb…

Fighting over who gets to be in the top bunk…

Fighting over who gets to be in the bottom bunk…

Leaning over the edge and keeping each other awake…

Talking while you’re going to sleep.

Building forts.

Bunk beds are fantastic.

Basically the only thing they lose out on is aesthetics.

And the difficulty in changing the sheets!

My wife will occasionally start thinking about separating the beds…

But having built-in capacity for sleepovers… cousin visits… etc.

It’s just TOO GOOD!!

If I’m honest, I kinda want a bunk bed as an adult.

Queen size or King size…

Yes! I saw some custom built-in queen-size bunk beds at a vacation home!

It changed my life.

Bunk beds are the coolest.

So I am thankful for bunk beds.

Ours even have a trundle!

It makes getting 5 kids into one room possible…

(That’s generally a treat / sleepover / fun night)

So. Much. Fun!
