Thankful for Car Rides
Whether it's talks. Questions. Stories. Singing. Or Silence... Car rides with my kiddos are great!
“Tell me a story”
“Teach me something!”
“How does that work?”
“Why did we just…?”
My kiddos… son in particular…
Love car rides!
We don’t do screens…
So sometimes we will listen to music…
Or they will read!
But car rides are great times for talking too!
Whether we are talking. They are asking questions.
Someone is telling a story.
We’re singing.
Or driving in silence.
Car rides create some fantastic memories!
And I love how themes can emerge.
The most recent topic we tackled:
“Worship is about more than just singing.”
I’m not clever enough to come up with a plan for this stuff…
It just sorta happens as a result of life and what’s going on!
So I am thankful for car rides.
I’m thankful for the opportunity to connect with my kiddos.
For their growing brains.
And for the chance to introduce them to intricacies of the world!!
What are your favorite car-ride past times?
Games you play? Conversations you have enjoyed?
Road trips you have remembered?
