Thankful for the Chance to Make My Kids' Day

It's often through little things! But the opportunity to completely change the quality of my kids' day is almost always there!

Last week, one of my daughters came with me to Walmart to grab a few things.

We took the opportunity to make a daddy-daughter date out of it! (More on those another day)

It was simple. We bought some bread / ham / smoothies… made sandwiches… ate together out in the truck.

Lots of laughs. Lots of fun.

And when we got home?

It was all she would talk about!

I had fun. It made her day.

The crazy part?

She had just gone to an epic birthday party with all of her friends from school.

She had already had an amazing day.

But that didn’t register against “time with daddy.”

Let’s get out there and make our kids’ days!

It is often so much more accessible than we realize

Or are willing to acknowledge.

I’m thankful that I can make my kids’ day.

One day at a time!

What about you?

Do you have any ways that you like to “make your kids’ days?”

I would love to hear! Let’s get the discussion started!
