Thankful for Family Dinners

A brief time for all the chaos to focus. Narrow. And lean in to one another!

“Can we do High-Low-Buffalo!?”

Struggling to sit still

“My high was sitting down today at dinner.”

Have you heard of “High-Low-Buffalo?”

A friend introduced us to the idea.

Best part of the day.

Worst part of the day.

Something random / funny.

Our 3 year old always starts with Buffalo 🤣

It’s a regular part of our sit-down meal.

Go around the table and talk about our day.

When we’re all home… we might have shared a lot of experiences!

But the description in high-low-buffalo is always different!

I am always thankful for the chance to make my kids’ day.

But it’s especially sweet to sit down and talk about it.

And for all the chaos of life… enjoy some moments together.

So I am thankful for family dinners too!!

How about you!?

What are some family dinner rhythms in your house or childhood?
