Thankful for Kids' Little Growths!

There are always those moments where you step back and see how much they've grown...

“I don’t know how to get the car seat out!”

My wife and I were on our way back from out of town.

Childcare is leaving to drive across the state before we get back.

And she can’t leave us our car seat.

What are you going to do!?

No matter. The 9 year old stepped up big time 😎

Watching him wrestle with that car seat.

Figure out the intricate little hooks.

And conquer that challenge!

So satisfying. So proud of him.

In the day to day, it never seems like our kiddos really change much.

A fraction of an inch taller, perhaps. Maybe a quarter pound of weight.

But add up all of those little changes, and what do you get?

It’s important to pause and look back.

You can see some remarkable growth.

He is becoming a little man!

I am thankful for my kids’ little growths.

And how they compound over days and weeks and months and years!!

It is wild how fast they are growing.

What about you? Do you have ways you are growing each day?

We may stop growing physically before adulthood…

But we never need to stop growing in strength. Fitness. Mental fortitude. Bravery. Trust. Communication. Faith.

What are you going to do to grow today!?

Let’s be better every day!!
