Thankful for Reading

Everyone is home… but the house is quiet.

Girls are upstairs in their rooms.

Son is on the couch.

Wife is on the porch.

Everyone is reading.

The house may be quiet…

But there is adventure afoot!

Worlds are being explored.

Relationships are being built.

Topics are being mastered!

It is amazing how much reading can accomplish.

It is a world-changing activity. Changing the world you inhabit

By taking you to other worlds.

Connecting you to the brightest minds in history.

I also love to read to my kiddos in the evenings.

The young ones love to pick out a book!

And it’s fun snuggling up for a good story!

A great way to wind down after a busy day!

So I am thankful for reading.

And thankful that my kiddos love it so much.

Especially my son.

He can sit and read for hours.

The things he learns and the ideas he creates are marvelous!
