Thankful for Road Trips

What’s the difference?

Well… sometimes you don’t take a “car” 😉

Hello, MOM TANK! (That’s what my wife calls her SUV)

But you can also take a bus! Or some other type of transportation.

In any case… that’s what my son and I did yesterday.

Rode on a good-ol’ greyhound.

It was pretty nice!! Looking out of big plate glass windows.

Taking a route that you don’t normally take.

Seeing parts of the state that you haven’t seen in years.

(And napping instead of being focused on the road)

Road trips are great. Not because of the road.

But because of the trip. Because of the people.

Because of the experience. And the memories.

So I am thankful for road trips.

I am thankful for the very different road trip experiences we’ve had over the last month.

Road trips that will definitely make our year-in-review book.

And will pad the memories for years to come!
