Thankful for the Love of Time

Time runs slower for kiddos. They cherish every second! Us adults could learn a thing or two.

“Can we play for just 1 minute?”

The sense of relief when we say “5 more minutes.”

“Sitting out for 2 minutes before playing!!??? NOOOOOOO!!”

Time just runs differently for kiddos!

Meanwhile my adult brain is in a completely different world:

“By the time I get downstairs, 1 minute will have passed.”

“5 minutes til my next meeting…

If I switch tasks to do anything else I will be late…”

60 seconds is the same for both of us…

So why does it seem so different?

Lots of folks have theories. I’m no different.

Percentage of life-span lived…

(5 minutes is a much larger percentage of their life)

Control…

Experience…

Whatever it is… I find it incredibly motivational.

Oh to cherish time like a child does!

Every minute, precious. Every hour, an eternity.

I am thankful for the example that they are to me!

I am thankful for how my kiddos cherish time.

My kiddos’ interaction with time is quite inspiring.

I will strive to live every minute. Every hour. Every day.

No regrets. Cherished time. Make the most of it!
