Thankful for Workouts

Oh yeah. I can lift that. Ugggggh. Wow. Heavier than I thought!

Whew!

That’s heavier than I thought!

I love working out.

The challenge and struggle…

Straining muscles and mind to keep going.

It’s just a fantastic way to stretch yourself and grow / improve!

Plus the feeling afterwards… of accomplishment. Exhaustion.

SO GOOD!

But it’s twice as fun with kids.

Watching them get excited about accomplishments.

Can I get the sprint under 5 seconds!?

Can I lift that weight?

Can I do 50 reps!?

Now I understand… kids should not be power lifting…

But for stuff that is natural kid movements…

Lifting age-appropriate weights.

Running. Walking. Sprinting. Carrying.

There are fantastic ways to challenge them!

So I love workouts.

I love having my kids involved.

And I love watching the learning going on in their little heads!

(It’s also fun when they realize that they’re not quite as big and strong

As they tend to think they are 😉)
